Don't panic- it's not what you think. When I started PJ, it was out of a need to fill industry gaps. Products that I couldn't find, things I'd love to use in my own styling. My goal was never to just simply offer what others had. At the forefront was creating things that aged well + got better over time- making the everyday mundane, beautiful. About a year into our launch- another very similar concept launched fairly locally to us.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eI've now been in the product development space for 6 years + while I truly believe there's room for everyone, this felt a bit to close for comfort. So close- that we almost discontinued production of this sku. After many conversations, instead of walking away- we went back to why I created this in the first place + talked through how we could improve it. Hours of conversation revolved around the aesthetic + how we could make ours obviously different. We altered the shape, customizing it completely to the shape of our inserts (have no fear if you are an OG block owner, our inserts are not changing). \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eWe also have produced it in our 4 signature colours: Viola, Arabescato, Emperador Light + Dark. The next hot topic of discussion revolved around affordability- we know the initial block investment is on the higher side because of the natural materials used. Every penny we've made from this product- I've put back into production. Thanks to all of you- we've been able to invest in heavily with our manufacturer which in turn lowers our overall cost. We're passing those savings along to you guys.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eWhere most businesses right now are increasing prices- I am so proud to be able to do this. It's taking our MSRP from $98 to $64. We've also switched our refill inserts to recycled glass.
